The Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Complutense University) is located in the capital of Spain. It is one of the oldest universities in the world, as well as the largest (83,000 students, among them 3, 500 foreign students, more than 5,000 staff teachers and about 2,700 non academic staff - administration and services) and the most prestigious in Spain. Seventy-seven official degrees are offered at the university as well as some 230 further qualifications and almost 200 doctorate programmes.
