Research interests:

Dorota Bourne's research interests include change management, international knowledge transfer, innovation, management development and leadership. In her past research projects she explored the process of knowledge management and Total Quality Management transfer in car manufacture. She also wrote on such issues as career choice and gender. Dorota combines various research methods in her work which include ethnographic methodology in conjunction with tools derived from Personal Construct Psychology (PCP). She is also exploring a methodology based on PCP tools combined with Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Her current research projects look into management in the third sector, with focus on the creative industry. She is also involved in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Queen Mary University and the UK health care sector which is aimed at preventing over-volunteering in drug trials recruitment.
