CGR leads research, dissemination and user engagement activities structured around four research programmes:
• International monetary economics and finance
• Macro and development economies
• Labour economics
• Behaviour, institutions and networks
Since 2008, scholarly outputs, many underpinned by research grants, include 84 peer reviewed journal articles, four books, eight book chapters with 46 papers in CGR Working Paper Series and a CGR blog introduced in 2011.
The Centre for Globalisation Research is made up of academics based locally at Queen Mary and from a number of universities based in the UK and internationally. Along with visiting scholars, who make a significant contribution to the Centre’s academic life, we welcome applicants to the PhD programme with interest in our four research programmes.
