Part-time PhD study
We recognise that for many people, studying full-time is not possible. We welcome applications from PhD students intending to study on a part-time basis, where the nature of the research makes this feasible.
For part-time PhD students, the entry qualifications needed and the requirement for the preparation of the final thesis are the same as for full-time students. The normal period of study is extended to a minimum of 4 years and tuition fees are half of full-time fees.
