BUSM144 Research Methods for International Human Resource Management
This module introduces students to the nature of research in the field of business and management/ human resource management and to some of the techniques used in business research. The module is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and expertise to undertake a successful dissertation as part of the MSc. The module will introduce you to the fundamentals of research in business and management/ HRM, help you to design a relevant and rigorous dissertation project, and to identify suitable quantitative and/or qualitative research methods techniques. It will walk you through the entire research process from finding a research question to the final results including how to write-up your research. With a strong focus on the dissertation the module will also provide the fundamentals for future research projects in academia and different business contexts.
