English language and foundation courses
To prepare you for your studies, Queen Mary offer a number of English Language and Foundation courses.
Choose the Presessional programme if you already have a formal offer for an undergraduate or masters degree at Queen Mary and need to improve your English language and academic skills before starting your main degree programme. There are five, nine or thirteen week courses available from June to September.
Academic Campus English is designed for students who need extra English support before starting Foundation degree at Queen Mary or another UK University. This programme will suit you if you have reached the academic requirements of your further study, but not the required English language level.
Choose the Campus English programme if you want a course to improve your general language skills in a university environment. If you want a course to improve your academic language skills, prepare you for IELTS or other language exams, or for pre-foundation language study, then you should choose the Academic Campus English (ACE) programme.
